Human Mode — Delete your account and data
Human Mode (package com.humanmode.app) is offline-first. You can use the app without an account.
If you signed in with Google, you can delete local data in the app or request full removal of cloud data tied to your account.
Option A — In the app (fastest)
- Open Human Mode → Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to Data control → tap Wipe Saved Data.
- Confirm. This removes sessions, profile, and streaks stored on your device.
If you were signed in, the app also attempts to delete your Firebase profile, sessions, public profile link, and handle from our servers.
You will be signed out. This does not delete your Google account — only Human Mode data.
Option B — Email request (account + cloud data)
Email us from the same address as your Google sign-in (if applicable):
offlinehuman@gmail.com
Subject line: Human Mode Account Deletion Request
Include:
- Your display name or @handle (if you set one)
- That you want your Human Mode account and associated data deleted
We will complete the request within 30 days and reply when done.
What we delete
- Deleted: Human Mode profile (display name, bio, handle), offline session records and reflections stored in our database, public profile page, public session proof links, and handle reservation — for your account.
- On your device: All local app storage when you use Wipe Saved Data or uninstall the app.
What we may keep (short period)
- Google Play / RevenueCat purchase records — retained as required for tax, fraud prevention, and refund support (we do not use these for advertising).
- Backups — Firebase or infrastructure backups may retain data up to 90 days before automatic purge, after which it is removed.
Delete some data without deleting your account
Yes. You can:
- Use Wipe Saved Data to clear on-device history without signing out.
- Turn off Public profile or set sessions to private to remove public links while keeping your account.
